Wet Hulling - 5 Mouth Huller

This process effectively removes the outer skin of sesame seeds. Seeds are submerged in a hot water solution, loosening the husk for efficient removal. To ensure continuous operation, a series of additional batches maintain the solution temperature.

A highly integrated hulling machine then separates the loosened husks from the seeds, achieving a remarkable 100% hulling rate. The processing water carrying the removed husks flows through a sieve cleaning system for final separation, resulting in clean and efficiently hulled sesame seeds.

Overview

1. Receiving Hopper (ST1):

  • Quantity: 1 unit
  • Capacity: 2500 Kg of cleaned raw sesame seeds
  • Material: M.S. structure
  • Features: Discharge valve for efficient material flow

2. Hot Caustic Solution Tank (HC1):

  • Quantity: 1 unit
  • Capacity: 800 liters of solution
  • Material: SS 304 (all contact parts) with M.S. structure
  • Features: Level indicator pipe, valve, overflow pipe, and valve for solution management

3. Treatment Vessels (M1 to M3):

  • Quantity: 3 units
  • Purpose: Mixing seeds with solution
  • Material: SS 304 (all seed contact parts)
  • Features:
    • Each vessel equipped with a motor (10 HP for M1, 5 HP for M2 and M3) - 1440 RPM, 3 phase, 50 cycle, 400/440V
    • Heavy-duty gearbox, vee belt and pulley system

4. Hulling Machines (HM1 & HM2):

  • Quantity: 2 units (HM1 and HM2)
  • Combined Production Capacity: 1300 to 1400 Kg/hr

    • HM1:
      • Three pre-huller and three final huller stages
      • Six 7.5 HP electric motors (1440 RPM, 3 phase, 50 cycle, 400/440V) with v-belt & v-pulley system
      • Japan-made bearings
      • Separate discharge for water with hulls, hulled seeds
      • All contact parts and outer body constructed from SS 304 material
      • Total power requirement: 45 HP (one unit)
    • HM2:
      • Two pre-huller and two final huller stages
      • Four 7.5 HP electric motors (1440 RPM, 3 phase, 50 cycle, 400/440V) with v-belt & v-pulley system
      • Japan-made bearings
      • Separate discharge for water with hulls, hulled seeds
      • All contact parts and outer body constructed from SS 304 material
      • Total power requirement: 30 HP (one unit)

5. Support Structure:

  • Quantity: 2 units (Guarder 1 & 2)
  • Dimensions: Combined 15' L x 40' W x 20' H (length x width x height)
  • Floors: Two floors - first floor (4' x 40'), second floor (5' x 40') - total floor area: 10' x 40'
